1: If app has not been downloaded already from Google Play, go to Google Play on your phone and search for "RMAPPSUITE and then install it For Apple/IOS see RENT MANAGER LINK 2: TAKE YOUR PHOTO USING THE ANDROID APP AUTODATESTAMPER see LINK from Android Play Store 5: ENTER "RMO SERVER LOGIN" Username: sdm-2 Password:11114-sd 6: ENTER "Rent Manager User "The system will then ask for your actual username and password that you use to log in to Rent Manager for. NOTE: The above username/account user will only be asked one time. 7: USING THE APPLICATION Select a "Category " eg "my open issues" and then select "item" and it will show you the options available in Rent Manager. You can then use the search option eg to find a specific ticket. 8: USE GALLERY Once you have taken the photo select it using the "USE GALLERY OPTION " 8:5.UPDATE HISTORY/NOTE Under the option "history /note" write a summary of what the photo shows, for example "master bathroom toilet flange was broken" "master bathroom toilet flange repaired" This note will show in Rent Manager and make it easier for the processor to understand what the photo represents. 9: HOW CAN I UPLOAD MORE THAN ONE PHOTO AT ONE TIME? Go to the main RM Capture Menu and choose the "Gallery " option on the left-hand size. This will bring up all your photos in your camera, and you can then pick and choose which photos (scrolling down as needed ) you wish to update by checking the square box on each photo and then hit "select" at the bottom of the screen 10: HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO UPLOAD? It should take approx 1 minute to upload say 21 photos which will show in Rent Manager within a couple of minutes (JB did a test on 6/8/13 uploading 21 photos as a batch using gallery method above and 4G (non-wifi connection) and the entire process from selecting photos, selecting ticket etc took less than 2 minutes). 11: RM RECORD TYPE/SIZE Use the "LARGE " size option For more information see RM CAPTURE INFO 12: UPLOAD SUCCESSFUL You will get a message on the phone/tablet saying "UPLOAD SUCCESSFUL" which means that the photos were uploaded to Rent Manager. Do not upload them again if you get this message, to avoid duplication. 13: PROBLEMS UPLOADING PHOTOS? If it takes more than 3 minutes to upload from your phone for less than 25 photos, try again.If the same problem occurs run a speed test on the phone and if less than 1 MG UPLOAD this may explain the slowness.If the problem keeps occurring call Rent Manager for additional support 16: WHEN SHOULD I UPLOAD THE PHOTOS? As soon as you have taken them to avoid delay and loss. 17: HOW CAN I BACK UP MY PHOTOS? Use Google+ auto backup so that your photos are stored in the cloud even if you have deleted them from your phone |
