WILL I BE ABLE TO NOT EXCEED MAX AMOUNT AUTHORIZED ? emax.sdcpm.com

1:Do not start the job if you do not think you can complete the job in the service order for the max amount allowed.

2: Use $38/hour A1 labor rate when calculating the total cost

For example, you are told not to exceed $300.If you think the material cost is $50 then your labor cannot exceed $300 less $50

ie $250 which converted into hours is $250/$38=6 hours (Always round down to zero decimal places)

2: Let the person who sent you the service order know how much you the job will cost in total by using the $38 labor rate above

For example, using the information in 2 above, if you think it will take you 10 hours to do the work, then you would tell the person

who sent you the service order that the max $ needs to be (10 times $38=$380+$50=$430) Just give the total of $430 and do not

share the breakdown of how you calculated it

3: If you are unable to provide the max total $ needed because you need to do some of the work to determine this, let the person who sent you the ticket

know the total cost to provide this max (ie the cost to provide a big)

For example if you think it will take you 3 hours to estimate the cost then the amount you will request to provide a bid will

be $38 times 3 hours=$114

4: The person who sent you the service order will then send you a revised service order if approved or will let you know that the job has been canceled.
