"Hi,The unit would fail if the non-working light bulbs were in a required fixture or appliance, such as a refrigerator light bulb or no light in the kitchen because light bulb is burnt out. If the light bulb is in a multi bulb fixture such as track lighting, as long as one was working, we would pass it with a comment."

“If the lighting is there it has to work. Additionally, if there is no lighting and the inspector deems it a trip hazard due to lack of lighting it would be a fail.”
